You Can't Stop This Train!!!

So here we go again!  It's been one week since I have started my body repositioning process, and I must say, Week 1 was a huge success.  I sat by, watched, and followed my plan to a T!  I know this process is not going to be an easy one, and it is also a lot longer than just one week, but if I can stay on the "program" like I intend to and keep up the intensity, I know I can & will make it happen.  There are a lot of temptations out there, but I think that is part of "my" growing process.  Over the years, I've heard a lot of people say empty your house from all temptations, and that might work for some people, but that hasn't worked for me in the past and I really don't think it will work for me now.  As some people at my church have pointed out, "Rebekah Thacker Abel", not to mention any names, I am extremely competitive, and to me, seeing the temptation and turning it down means something.  I can walk into QT since it is in my back yard, and see all of the stuff that I have eaten over the years, so taking things out of my house, just doesn't trigger what I need it to for this to be successful.  So how successful was this first week?  I have lost 5.4 pounds!  Pretty exciting, but also a warning.  If I can lose it that fast, I'm sure I can put it back on that fast, so I won't be doing toe touches anytime soon, well, maybe, but that's beside the point.  Anyway, I'll keep it short this week, I have a long way to go, but with a wife like mine, 3 kids, and an awesome church family, this is definitely going to be fun!
